La 153e Assemblée de l'UIP se tiendra à Arusha (République-Unie de Tanzanie) du 5 au 9 octobre 2026. L'ensemble des organes statutaires de l'UIP, notamment le Conseil directeur, les commissions permanentes, le Comité des droits de l'homme des parlementaires et le Comité sur les questions relatives au Moyen-Orient, ainsi que le Forum des femmes parlementaires et le Forum des jeunes parlementaires se réuniront à cette occasion. Le Conseil directeur sera invité à élire un nouveau président de l'UIP lors de sa session à Arusha.
